Celebrate the fun of Christmas time and jingle all the way down to Toowoomba's Christmas in the CBD on Wednesday, 30th November. Entertainment, activities, and market stalls will start from 4.30pm, followed by the lighting of the CBD Christmas tree at 7pm.

Santa and his sleigh will be a part of the street parade along Margaret & Ruthven Streets to City Hall, with City Hall coming to life in lights at 7.20pm. 

Come and join the festive celebrations including face painting, Christmas markets, carol singers, a jumping castle and so much more!

• 3pm Road Closure – Close Ruthven Street between Little & Herries Streets.

• Train jumping castle & Ferris Wheel on Ruthven St frontage of Village Green (Free)

• 7pm-7:20pm Santa Street Parade rolling closure, Police Escort. Santa Sleigh procession leaves Lamb Street led by Harlaxton RSL Brass Band & crosses over into the northern laneway of Margaret St and heads east to the CBD Christmas Tree. Tree is and  it then travels east on Margaret Street across Ruthven Street and up to Neil Street, completes a U turn and travels back down Margaret Street in a westerly direction to Ruthven Street. It then turns left into Ruthven Street and travels south up to Herries Street. When it is opposite City Hall is stops for a minute to enable a round of Jingle Bells to be played by the Band and then it travels to Herries Street and completes a U turn and travels back down Ruthven Street in a northerly direction and stops at City Hall. The area of Ruthven Street from Little St to Herries Street is closed from 3pm to 9:30pm.
