USQ Toowoomba Vinnies Sleepout

Close to 500 people are homeless in Toowoomba - in the wider Darling Downs and Southern Downs region that figure climbs towards 700.
The University of Southern Queensland and Vinnies Youth Toowoomba are working together on the event to give secondary & tertiary students, staff and the wider community the chance to make a difference for people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
The Sleepout is an opportunity for students and staff, along with members of our local community to work together and make a positive impact in the wider community.
There will be activities, light supper/breakfast, guest speakers and of course, the opportunity to sleepout for the night.
A series of education activities will be hosted between 5.30pm and 9pm on the night.
