Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery is excited to announce a call out for submissions from local artists to participate in the Carnival Queens exhibition.

In celebration of Toowoomba Carnival of Flower’s (TCOF) 75th anniversary, this exhibition brings together artwork by local artists that respond to the theme 'Carnival Queens' and/or TCOF’s theme “It’s a Party’. Artists are invited to create new works in any medium that are inspired by any aspect or interpretation of these themes. Successful artists will be paid NAVA rates for the loan of work in this non-selling exhibition.

Each artist can submit up to 3 artworks (maximum size 120 cm high x 120 cm wide) which will be considered for selection. Submissions are free of charge, there is no entry fee.

The curated exhibition will be on display from Saturday 24 August – Sunday 17 November 2024.
