Hundreds of classic cars and tens of classic aircraft will again be on display at the Toowoomba Aerodrome, as part of the Toowoomba North Rotary Club’s David Hack Classic on Sunday 19th May.The day attracts a wide range of restored, rejuvenated, unique and historic vehicles, presenting a practical history of man’s infatuation with motor cars, and includes a fleet of historic aircraft representing warbirds and workhorses which continue to grace the skies. All vehicles and aircraft are for display and conversation only, although there may be option for joyflights depending on conditions.

The best of the displays will be recognized with sponsored trophies for 25 various categories.

This year is the 24th David Hack Classic, which was born as a fundraiser for the Leukaemia Foundation and Blue Care, and has grown to also provide funds to many other local charities as part of Rotary’s ongoing community support program.

There will be food and drinks (no alcohol), music, trade and historic displays and a major raffle with prizes of holiday accommodation, joyflights, framed artwork and local business vouchers. There will also be a Jaws of Life demonstration by QFRS.

The event is organised and run by the Rotary Club of Toowoomba North in conjunction with Aerotec and Supported by Toowoomba Regional Council.
