We are super excited to present this rare line up for the Toowoomba Jazz Society – one not to be missed!!

The Good Bait trio Helen Russell (bass), Jamie Clark (guitar) and Paul Hudson (drums) is a long-standing collaboration between three of Brisbane’s most versatile jazz instrumentalists. The arrangements and compositions draw on their wide-ranging musical experiences. The three have developed a deep synergy over so many years of playing together, and love to share their enjoyment of playing music together.

In more recent years, Helen has added a vocal repertoire to the mix, mining the 1930s and 40s for neglected gems of the Great American Songbook, often lesser known songs by very famous composers such as George Gershwin and Duke Ellington.

And who could be a better choice of reedman to decorate the music of this era than Toowoomba’s own Paul Hendon? Join us for a celebration of the heyday of jazz composition.

ENTRY: TJS Member $15, Non-members $20. Annual membership of Toowoomba Jazz Society is available on the night.

PARKING: Access the car park off Gipps Street or there are parks in front of the bowling green in Ball Street and access via the gate.

ENTRANCE: Up the steps from the car park on the southern side of the building or from the bowling green side. Disabled access ramp on the Western side (Gipps Street) and through the bar.
