Gather your friends and family for an evening of creativity! Explore the intricate beauty of nature through collage in this engaging session. Delve into the fascinating shapes and patterns of plants and animals, using scientific observation to inform your artwork. Led by local artist Alex Stalling, this workshop will guide you in creating vibrant, nature-inspired collages on A3 art paper, ready for framing and display. Perfect for all skill levels! For ages 16+

Meet your tutor:

Based in Toowoomba, Alex Stalling is a seasoned creative professional with over a decade of experience in the arts. She has founded artist-run spaces (Attic Art Space, made. Creative Space, Tinker) and worked on events including the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, LIT Festival: Stories in Light, Thrive on Arts, and Hampton Festival. Alex’s creative practice explores personal identity through automatic imagery and animal motifs, reflecting on how experiences shape our sense of self. She also runs Tinker, a creative studio offering art workshops and programming, fostering community engagement and artistic growth.
