This impressive exhibition chronicles the development of modernism in Australia from 1940 to 1980 and tells one of the greatest art stories of regional Australia. Revealing the hidden culture of the Beef capital, this exhibition presents the cream of Rockhampton Art Gallery’s collection and includes works by Arthur Boyd, Charles Blackman, Sidney Nolan, Russell Drysdale, John Brack, Sam Fullbrook, Margaret Olley, Fred Williams, James Gleeson, Lloyd Rees and more.
