This year’s event, which will be held on May17, promises to enhance its unique combination of food and the arts more than ever before. An artistic program featuring artists in residence, creative talks, petit canvases, performing arts and sensational music will be more interactive than in previous years, and the annual Hampton Art Exhibition will display the finest work from artists living within 50km of Hampton.

The program on Sunday will feature cooking demos with a twist. In the morning, Ballarat-based food bloggers Rohan Anderson (Whole Larder Love) and Kate Berry (Lunch Lady) will give visitors an insight into their grassroots approach to growing, gathering and cooking real food. They’ll be followed in the afternoon by Hampton favourite Dominique Rizzo, who will team up with leading Brisbane pastry chef Caroline Jones to create some delectable treats for Festival-goers to try at home. And of course, the ever popular Community Produce Stall and Festival Marketplace will be stocked with an array of fresh produce and artisan goods to use in your kitchen at home.
