Brian Sams is a horticulturist based in Toowoomba. He has a background in the nursery industry and in teaching horticulture.
He is currently a Principal teacher in Horticulture and operates a horticultural garden tour and consultancy business. Brian contributes articles to various horticultural publications, appears weekly on WIN news as a garden news presenter and provides garden talkback advice on 4GR radio.

His garden tour business, Wattletree Garden Tours, runs and organises garden related tours. Brian has led garden tours to England, Scotland, Ireland, USA, China, Japan, India, Taiwan, Canada, Alaska, Spain, Portugal, Wales, Italy, New Zealand, South America, Western Australia, France and Holland. Future tours are always being planned.

Brian describes his passion for gardening as “I am plant person first and foremost. Watching plants grow, visiting gardens and learning about other cultures through their gardens and continuing to learn a little more about the vast world of plants is what I love most.”
