Rosalie Gallery is currently hosting Onward Journey, by Toowoomba textile artists Jenny Burgess and Joan Ellard.

The exhibition features signature pieces of both artists including Jenny's textile interpretation of some of Australia's most iconic places and tracks.  The wall hangings are history and geography lessons that reference places such as the Queensland Western Railway line, its towns and places of interest.  Jenny has also used recycled teabags to create fun pieces in her Crazy Critters Series.  Handmade books tell of the Man from Snowy River.  Joan Ellard's has loaned her magnificent collection of coats,many of which have won numerous state and national awards.   Joan's skill with cut and design and her exquisite hand embroidery on hand painted fabric are a feature.
