Rosalie Gallery, Goombungee is offering a retrospective exhibition of works by renowned Winton artist Sally Ogg.  Flights of Fancy offers a sometimes abstract insight into life in Western Queensland, the inspiration behind this body of works.  Ogg incorporates the land into her interpretations, creating artworks literally from the ground up.  Stones, rocks and charcoal from her Winton surroundings are powdered and used in wet and dry forms, paying homage to the colours of outback Queensland.  The exhibition offers a broad range of media including natural unwashed wool, vibrant hand dyed silks, watercolours, pastels and pencil sketches.  Flights of Fancy  will run from 23rd January to 28th February 2016.  Gallery Hours are Wednesday to Sunday 10.30am to 3.30pm.  To celebrate this exhibition, Rosalie Gallery will host an open day on Sunday 31st January with light refreshments from 11am to 2.30pm.  Further information Telephone 4696 5600 or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
