Exhibition | ‘great and powerful friends’: Lionel Lindsay’s Art in Britain and America

This exhibition of prints and drawings by Lionel Lindsay (1874-1961) concerns the artist’s connections with the British Museum; private print societies based in America; Philip Hofer at The Houghton Library, Harvard University; and other influential people and bodies in Britain and the United States – Australia’s ‘great and powerful friends’, to borrow a phrase from Prime Minister Robert Menzies, who was one of Lindsay’s own dear friends.

Join us for a Twilight Tour on Thursday 21 June @ 5.30pm. This is a free event and all are welcome | RSVP to the Gallery by Tuesday 19 June.
