Be enthralled by an exotic mix of Andean, Afro Cuban and western influences.
This enchanting interaction between ancient Andean instruments and modern technology results in a truly uplifting sound.
Celestino blends traditional sounds with world music to create a passionate and memorable performance. The ensemble incorporates traditional Bolivian panpipes, quenas (traditional flutes) and charango (traditional Bolivian string instrument), with keyboards, guitar, drums and Latin percussion. A five-piece ensemble of talented musicians, members of Celestino have performed throughout Australia, Pacific Islands, Europe, South Africa, South America and North America.
A reception in the USQ Arts Gallery will follow the recital – refreshments will be served.
