Enjoy Toowoomba’s own endangered dry rainforest less than 5km from city hall.

Discover some of the important and endangered plants and animals that live in this rain forest.

Take Part in one or more of the guided walks around and through the forest.

Support the work of Friends of the Escarpment Parks.  Become a member only or join a park care group.

Program at Redwood Park
7 am Bird Walk with Toowoomba Bird Observers - Mick Atzeni.  If you are an early riser, this walk is for you.
9.15 Plants of the dry rainforest - join Geoff Sharp in a walk through the rainforest and discover the rich diversity of plants in Toowoomba's own rainforest.
10.30 Butterfly walk– Dr John Moss from the Butterfly and other Invertebrates Club in Brisbane will lead you on an ecology walk with a focus on the butterflies that are found in Redwood Park.
11.30 Barbecue - registered guests
1.00 pm Close of activities at Redwood Park
