Youth and Community Learning Centre is hosting a Family and Community Day on the 14th March 2016. The purpose of this day is to build positive relationships with the local community and its members, and to promote the resources we have recently attained to the wider community. As part of the day, we will be unveiling our new YCLC gardens and the aims of the 'Cultiv8' Kitchen/Garden Program, and there will be a showcasing of our new Trade Training Centre.
The day will be very community and family friendly with numerous activities for all ages; including each person being given the opportunity to contribute to our Family Day mural. The theme of the mural is "Today's seeds are tomorrow's flowers".
