B@D is Toowoomba's premier monthly networking event; a joint venture of the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce and the University of Southern Queensland.
B@D is FREE for Chamber members and $25 for non-members.
The next B@D will be held on Wednesday, 15 June 2016 at Toowoomba Central Plaza Apartment Hotel, from 5.30pm until 7pm. 

June 10-17 marks Philanthropy Week; a celebration to honour community members and organisations who make outstanding philanthropic contributions, and encourage support for charities and community organisations operating throughout Queensland.

Guest speakers at B@D include Toowoomba Central Plaza's Marketing Manager Chris Novak, Grand Central Centre Manager Shane Beveridge and a spokesperson from the Empire Theatres. 

Guests will learn more about the Empire Theatres Foundation, a charitable trust which seeks to provide performing arts opportunities to further the cultural experiences and professional development of young people in the Toowoomba region. The patron of the Foundation is acclaimed stage and screen actor Geoffrey Rush, who first experienced live theatre at the Empire as a child growing up in Toowoomba.

B@D will be held at Toowoomba Central Plaza Apartment Hotel, a well-established landmark apartment hotel in Toowoomba that has been committed to serving the needs of the local community. This unique mix use complex of 100 apartments is a market leader in accommodation and it has become home to local businesses, blue chip companies, government and universities as well as wedding and sporting groups. Recently, another level of function space was added to serve meetings, conferences and events ranging from two to 200 delegates.
