Looking for an excuse to get your teen/s out from in front of the screens these Summer holidays? Get them to come and join us at our Wet & Wild Water Sports Camp!

We're uprooting from our usual base at our Camp Cooby Function Centre and are instead setting up camp on the Dam for 3 days and 2 nights of water based action! Designed for our senior campers (13-16 years), this camp offers a range of water based activities including canoeing, sailing, and raft building, combined with some of our good old fashioned camp games and outdoor fun.

Our experienced facilitators have an action-packed program planned that focuses on water based skills such as:
- Sailing & Canoeing
~ Learning the basics of sailing & canoeing and building confidence on the water
~ Learning the anatomy of a sailing boat, how to rig, de-rig, points of sail
~ Steering, tacking and jibing
~ Water safety
~ MAN OVERBOARD!: what to do when your boat capsizes
~ How to hold a paddle, and relevant paddling skills
- Raft building
- Team races
- Water & land based games and activities

Packages include all meals, camp facilitation, equipment (i.e. canoes, sailing boats, life jackets, etc.) and accommodation (if an overnight package has been booked):
- Monday to Wednesday Day Package | $225 per child
- Monday to Wednesday Day & Night Package | $325 per child

Package Add-ons:
- Transport between our office at 121 West Street & our Camp Cooby Campus | $10 each way
~ Pick up: 8:00am (Monday)
~ Drop off: 4:30pm (Wednesday & Friday)

PLEASE NOTE: as we will be out on the water for the majority of this camp, it is essential that your child is a competent swimmer if they wish to participate in this camp program. Although we will be wearing life jackets at all times while out on the water, it is important that your child can swim 50m+ and float without the assistance of a buoyancy vest.
