At 6am on Sat 25^th April Mr Craig Skuse a longterm resident of Gowrie and Mr Rick Greenhalgh a returned service man will on behalf of Gowrie lay a wreath,,raise the flag and honour those with a minutes silence.

This will be livestreamed by Facebook, and the community is encouraged to acknowledge the day by supporting the RSL 'LightUp The Dawn' initiative - stand in your driveway, on your balcony or in your living room to remember all those who have served and sacrificed.
