Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery will be hosting QAGOMA’s Kids on Tour 2017- The Gabori Sisters: Gathering By the Sea for young people and families this coming January during the school holidays!
‘The Gabori Sisters: Gathering By the Sea' will celebrate the creative legacy of Sally Gabori and the work of her three daughters Elsie, Amanda and Dorothy Gabori. Regional audiences will have the opportunity to go on a journey to the artists' homeland of Bentinck Island in Queensland's Gulf of Carpentaria. Through specially designed interactive hands-on making and multimedia activities, young visitors will be introduced to the unique and important relationship the Kaiadilt people share with the sea and the creatures who inhabit the waters around the Island.
Activities are free with all materials supplied. No bookings required just come on in during the scheduled activity times below:

Tuesday 10 January to Saturday 14 January 2017 - 10:30am until 12:30pm
Sunday 15 January 2017 - 1:30pm until 3:30pm
