What you will learn:

• Wedging & Pug Milling
• Creating pieces to specific dimensions using Callipers
• Making & using a Tombo Stick to create consistent pieces
• Centring larger amount of clay to produce larger bowls (to specific dimensions via Callipers)
• Throw a matching set of cups (Tombo Stick)
• Throw a jar with lid and gallery (Callipers)
• Turning pots and bowls
• Pulling and attaching mug handles
• Decorating your pieces with mark making, stamps (to provide own stamps) attaching discrete additions

Intermediate wheel throwing is suitable for students with a sound basic knowledge of wheel work. Please note that we cannot accept beginners on the wheel for this course; beginner wheel throwing classes can be booked through DDPC website.
