The historic town of Goombungee celebrates the annual blooming of the Jacarandas on Saturday 7 November 2015.  As part of this celebration, residents, businesses and community groups skirt the trees in beautiful Mocatta Street.  Skirting takes place on Thursday 5 November thus ensuring the trees are at their best for Saturday's celebrations.  Goombungee is within easy driving distance of Toowoomba, offers great hospitality with Coffee Shop, historic pub, boutique shopping and attractions such as Rosalie Gallery and the Museum along with historic Pioneer Park which offers BBQ facilities and family facilities including modern playground and skate park.
