Guest Curator Lisa Jones shares the history of policing in Queensland at ‘Policing Queensland’s wide opens Spaces’ on Wednesday 3 February at 2pm.

Despite the advanced technology and transport of today, the wide geographic spread of our state continues to make policing in Queensland a tricky task.

Join us as Lisa Jones, Curator at Queensland Police Museum, shares fascinating insights into life on the Police force, then and now, at this month’s Curator Conversation ‘Policing Queensland’s wide open spaces’.

In her role as Curator, Lisa continues to come across some amazing stories of the diverse and unusual circumstances that early Queensland Police officers faced in their day to day duties.

Lisa’s unusual bank of stories coupled with her extensive knowledge of policing in Queensland is sure to make for an entertaining and enlightening afternoon.

This talk is part of the Curator Conversation series presented on the first Wednesday of each month (except January).

Free with admission to the Museum.

(Admission to the Cobb+Co Museum is free for Toowoomba Regional Council residents.)
