JAZZIFY Combo with songbird Teri Welles

“If you feeling blue, all you’ve gotta do is Jazzify!”

Members of JAZZIFY Combo started playing music together in 2010 and have been delighting audiences throughout Southeast Queensland ever since at various venues, parties, festivals, and special events.

With diverse experience, the popular combo puts its own special spin on a range of jazzy, bluesy, classic, popular, swingin’ “croons and tunes”, drawn from music greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Natalie Cole, the Beatles, Van Morrison, Paul Simon, (even Elvis) and many more, plus a few originals.

Jazzify’s songbird TERI WELLES is known across the Southern Downs for her warm, personal song stylings and versatile voice. Born and raised in the USA, Teri has called Australia home for most of her adult life. Singing solo, in duos, bands and on albums, Teri’s experience includes jazz, folk, country rock and soft rock. She is well-known in the Granite Belt as a singer and visual artist.

With Rob Harvey’s sultry sax, Graham Muller’s considerable keyboard skills, Billy White on drums, Nick Williams’ swingin’ double bass and the velvet voice of Teri Welles, Jazzify creates a happy atmosphere wherever they go.

ENTRY: TJS Member $15, Non-members $20. Annual membership of Toowoomba Jazz Society is available on the night.

PARKING: Access the car park off Gipps Street or there are parks in front of the bowling green in Ball Street and access via the gate.

ENTRANCE: Up the steps from the car park on the southern side of the building or from the bowling green side. Disabled access ramp on the Western side (Gipps Street) and through the bar.
