Cindy Grimes lives in the Western Downs. She celebrates the small everyday moments, the community places, the hard work times, the high colour of the flush times - documenting everyday regional Queensland landscapes and life in her paintings.

Cindy’s creative interest is not limited to the Queensland landscape; however, its influence is a major aspect of her practice. She is driven by a fascination with capturing the stories in her own backyard, which grows stronger the more she observes, paints, and creates. Following the footsteps of others who capture the charm of the everyday, Cindy finds inspiration where she lives and works, the appeal of favourite places and daily life.

Join us between 10:30am and 3:30pm Saturday 24 August 2024 for a Meet the Artist Day.
