Life Back is a free program being run by leading alcohol and drug counselling provider, Lives Lived Well, at its Neil St Toowoomba office, starting 8 August. It runs two days a week over six weeks.

The main goal of this program is to help participants realise their life potential and get their lives back on track, free from the harms of alcohol and drugs.

Life Back is a non-residential day program for people wanting to address their substance use. The period following withdrawal is a vulnerable time in which the potential for relapse is significant.  Life Back provides group-based, post-withdrawal support and relapse prevention.

The program is for people over the age of 18 who would like to work on problematic substance use; or they may have completed a withdrawal program either at home or in hospital and are motivated to maintain abstinence for the period of the program.

Participants will learn how to embrace the difficult experiences that have led to them being who they are today and who they will become tomorrow. The program will also teach people how to recover from addiction, and thrive after challenging life experiences.
