United Synergies' Toowoomba Youth Service is hosting 'It takes a Village' Family Fun Day for Queensland Child Protection Week.

This free event aims to raise community awareness of services and encourage the Toowoomba community to get involved and actively participate in the protection of all children and young people.

There will be a range of community support services together with sporting, creative and therapeutic activities for children, young people, parents and carers; information and market stalls, cultural education, dance and performance, to encourage conversations about positive familial and community relationships in a safe and open environment. In keeping with the theme ‘Protecting Children is Everybody’s Business’ we invite you to join in the event. We want to enhance the connection between the community, services, businesses and organisations that support children, young people and families within the Toowoomba Region. Toowoomba Youth Service has, for 35 years, brought services to the community and we would like to you to assist us in marking this occasion and celebrating the unique, diverse and supportive community and collaborative partnerships the Toowoomba Region enjoys.
