First formed in 2005, the annual Peak2Park fun run/walk is organised by HALT (Healthy Active Lifestyles Toowoomba Incorporated), who are an independent not-for-profit registered committee of local people looking to encourage residents of Toowoomba to participate in exercise and to raise funds for local charities.

Peak2Park make the most of Toowoomba’s scenic parks and gardens by beginning at beautiful Picnic Point on the scenic rim of the Great Dividing Range and finishing at lovely Lake Annand, with its wide expanses of lawn.

Since the first Peak2Park in March 2006, it has attracted over 30,000 participants, and raised more than $300 000 for local charities. The event is an ongoing success because of the support of families, schools, and businesses.

The Peak2Park event will proceed rain, hail or shine unless there is an extreme weather event, in which case notification would be given via this website and the Peak2Park Toowoomba FACEBOOK page.

Event Day Schedule

10km event ›› The 10km event will start at the eastern side at the beginning of the ringroad at Picnic Point at 7am. Marshalling will commence from 6:30am.

4km event ›› The 4km event will start at 7.45am at the beginning of Heller Street, immediately south of Tobruk Drive. Marshalling will commence at 7:00am.
