Emerging Thoughts is a new body of work by local artist Jean Cameron. In 2015 Cameron was able to face her fears and investigate a way to create artwork relating to her life-long battle with depression.  By exposing her vulnerability and portraying her emotions in her work it helped her deal with the inner turmoil. Themes within Cameron’s work have evolved from a cathartic display of reflection to a more uplifting theme. Emerging Thoughts contain works which portray a sense of play, light-heartedness, positivity and sensitivity.

This exhibition is part of the Cam Robertson Gallery exhibition program that showcases the work of artists, curators and arts organisations in the Toowoomba Region.
