Housewife Nora has a seemingly ideal life: a perfect house filled with perfect children, all overseen by the perfect husband. But what happens when lies and secrets take their toll and Nora is finally forced to face the cracks in her carefully constructed existence?

A thrilling psychological tale of self-discovery and liberation, A Doll’s House by esteemed Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen, dissects the meaning of identity within stifling social norms.

A landmark achievement in theatre realism, A Doll’s House is the crowning opus of Ibsen, the father of modern prose drama, yet it is still as relevant as when it was performed to great controversy in the 1800’s.

A Dolls House is part of the Artsworx Naturalism Now Series. A performance of The Seagull by Anton Chekhov will also be performed from Tuesday 2 June – Saturday 6 June.
