Local Toowoomba artist, Margaret Cruickshank is holding a shared art exhibition with her fellow artist Margaret Bradford in Munbubbera, the citrus and fruit bowl of the North Burnett. This exhibition follows Ms Cruickshank's successful inaugral exhibition held last September during the Carnival of Flowers at the Repertory Theatre. The show's theme is 'From the Red Centre to the Sea' and titled 'MandM's The two Margaret's'. The exhibition is open from 12th May until 30th June 2018 Monday's to Saturdays.

Local friends and contacts expressed interest in attending, so we're organising a bus from Toowoomba to Mundubbera for an overnight stay at the Billabong Motor Inn and licenced restraurant. The art exhibition grand opening occurs on Saturday afternoon, with dinner in the evening and some local sighseeing on Sunday morning, then returning to Toowoomba. The local area boasts intensive fruit and berry farming, river vistas, historical stories and the hum of the seasonal population influx of grey nomads, seasonal and Tongan guest workers. Early booking is essential to secure accomodation! We'll be travelling via Stonestreets Coaches.
