We are extremely excited to announce our 2018 Women of Strength speaker: Dr Fiona Wood.

In 2002, Dr Wood and her team worked to care for badly burned victims of the Bali bombings. It was during this time that the "spray-on skin" cell technology Dr Wood pioneered for use in treating burns victims grabbed international headlines. In recognition of her work with the Bali bombing victims Fiona was named a Member of the Order of Australia in 2003.

Dr Wood was named Australian of the Year in 2005 and was voted Australia's Most Trusted Person from 2005 - 2010.
