Welcome to Brews and Barbie Bash! Toowoomba's best backyard BBQ Festival.

Held on the 27th October 2018 at the Toowoomba Showgrounds, this family BBQ festival is a celebration of our regions best BBQ eats, craft beer, estate wine, live music, sunshine & great country hospitality. 

Well keep you entertained all day long with music playing on 2 stages, Low & Slow Master Class, Beer Yoga, Eating Competitions, Gourmet Market stalls, Traders alley and the Retro Car display.  

Gather your mates and have a crack at one of our Backyard games; bouce, giant jenga, table tennis, darts & Snooker. The Mini Side Show alley is perfect for the little more adventurous complete with a mechanical Bucking Bull. Even the Kiddies are catered for with Laughing Clowns, Bobbing Ducks, Jumping Castle and giant soccer Dart board.  

If standing by the smokin’ grill is more your style, we’ve teamed up with the Australasian BBQ Alliance to host the hotly contested Toowoomba’s BBQ Battle with prize money and trophies to the value of $3000 over 4 categories; Beef, Chicken, Pork and Lamb. You can even sample some of this delicious meat at the Bluebird Kitchen Smoke House pop up kitchen. 

Once you’ve seen all the sights and indulged in those BBQ smells you’ll be sure to need a feed plus a drink or two. BBB2018 has assembled 10 of the Best BBQ food vans along with 10 Craft beer, wine and cider vendors. There will be something for everyone > Ribs, Chicken Wings, slow cooked meats, Pulled Pork, Gourmet Sausages, Argentinian Grill, Pig on the Spit, Charcoal grilled meats & veg....... is your mouth watering yet?.  

Once you’ve selected your delicious BBQ’d food along with an Icey cold beer, grab a seat under one of the shady umbrellas and take in the festival vibes. We’re lined up some stellar acts to keep you rocky till the sun goes down including the return of Birdman Randy & The Ivory Preachers plus this year’s highlight The Hi-Boys.
