Each year the volunteers of the Crows Nest Regional Art Gallery are offered the opportunity to stage an exhibition at the gallery; a thank you for their support throughout the year. It also provides professional development by engaging the volunteers in the process of applying to exhibit and adhering to the requirements of professional artists: preparing artworks for installation, writing artist statements and organising their opening event.

This year 12 volunteers have collaborated on a group project creating an art doll, canvas and journal. Each volunteer is also exhibiting work from their own creative practice including painting, drawing, mixed media, textiles, 3D, photography, and floral arrangement.

OPENING EVENT:

Sunday 23 September, 2018 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Refreshments provided and all are welcome.
