St Colman's Catholic Church, in collaboration with local artists, is hosting its first ever exhibition on Jacaranda weekend in Goombungee. This historic church (cir1902) , its rich history of worship, century old prints, stained glass windows and soaring ceiling heights offer a perfect and unique gallery space to partner religious artefacts with artworks from local studios in celebration of the spiritual and physical life of St colman's.

Curator Bronwyn Holland, has brought together an eclectic mix of scrap iron and textile art that will sit perfectly amongst stunning church statues and leadlight windows. This is a first time collaboration for local artists Nick Geraghty, Lynette Pukallus, Barbara Scott, Kerrie Thorne and Iet van Vonderen.

The church at 44 Barker St Goombungee will be open Saturday 6th Nov 9am-5pm and again on Sunday 7th Nov 11am-4pm.
