Time:9:30am - 12:00pm Saturday 19 November 2016
Location:Upper Queens Park, Margaret & Linsay Streets, Toowoomba, 4350

Please Join us and walk in honour of Mason Jett Lee and to stand up and be his voice and the voice of other innocent children who are living in Silence. Mason, 21 months was found deceased in Caboolture in June of this year after suffering horrific abuse at the hands of those who were supposed to care for him. Despite numerous calls to the Department of Child Safety from Mason's Aunt and neighbours and then also being reported by the hospital as having suspected significant physical and sexual abuse, the Department of Child Safety still allowed Mason to be returned home to his abusers where he succombed to the abuse and passed away just three months after being released from hospital. We are calling for "Ma...son Jett Lee's Law" to be put in place which means that any child who presents to a medical facility and is reported by the doctor the Department of Child Safety to having obvious signs of physical or sexual abuse, then the child is not to be returned home until a full investigation is completed. We need you all to stand with us and let the government know that we will not stand by and let another child fall through the cracks. Enough is Enough. Please join me on Saturday 19th November. This is family friendly and children can wear a superheo costume iof they wish and adults a light- blue tshirt in support of child safety awareness. I have also asked that if you are able to brng a teddy bear to be donated to the foster care agencies for children as they go into care then that would be greatly appreciated. There will be a free sausage sizzle and bottled water supplied. There will also be balloons to walk with, however, these are not to be released due to the environmental impact. Ros Bates, Shadow minister of Child Safety, will also be a guest speaker. I look forward to seeing you all there.
