Collusion and experienced educators will be conducting Viola and Cello workshops from 12pm (midday) in the Gallery spaces of Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery. Primary and secondary school aged string instrument students (AMEB Gr.2 equivalent & above) are invited to perform and receive coaching from Collusion musicians, under observation of a friendly audience.

Cost $22.00 per performing student | $12.00 per observer / teacher / parent

Time will also be allocated to question time for string teachers. All standards of students are welcome to observe.

Following the workshop at 2pm there will be a free concert of music for String Quartet Violin Makers Showcase, performing on instruments made by Australian luthiers. Featuring instruments of Ian Clarke, Trevor Liversidge, John Beames and Helge Grawert. Highlighting the music of W.A. Mozart, P?teris Vasks, Elena Kats-Chernin, Susan Hawkins and Philip Eames. General admission to concert is free.
