This tour features the historic places of Russell Street and the 19th and 20th century architectural styles & architects that shaped them. Russell Street has been a vibrant commercial street since the 1850’s. Explore the range of architectural styles from the Federation era, through to 1950’s modern and 21st century adaptative repurposing. Along the way discover the architects, fashion & businesses as well as the floods, storms and changes in transport that shaped its fascinating history.
