Busking in Millmerran Event is an initiative of  Millmerran Commerce & Progress Inc. (MCPI) and is one of the many Pre- Festival events held in and around Millmerran during the week prior to the Camp Oven Festival Weekend.  A FREE Courtesy Bus is also available for visitors to the Camp Oven Festival and the early campers from Wednesday 28th September to assist them in moving around from the Millmerran Showgrounds to the business centre of Millmerran and several other locations.  This courtesy bus is organised and partly funded by MCPI and sponsored by many of the businesses in Millmerran. 

The Busking and Entertainment in the Park has been a traditional event that MCPI has held for many years now and brings huge crowds to the business district to listen to the Buskers who are providing their entertainment from 9.30am to 11.30am in Campbell Street, Millmerran.  Cloud 9 a popular band from Toowoomba will continue the entertainment in Domville Place Campbell Street from 11.30am and continue with brackets of easy listening music until 3pm.  Tables, chairs and small Marquees for shade, will be set up in the park for the visitors to sit and eat lunch which is available to purchase from Campbell Street Eateries and enjoy the music. 

2021 saw in excess of 700 people attend the morning Busking session and many of these people also stayed on for the park Entertainment.  Prizes for Buskers will be awarded during the afternoon with the WINNER receiving $300.00 and the RUNNER UP $150.00 in cash.  Voters are also given 3 prize draws of $50.00 fuel vouchers. The winner of the Busking will also be given stage time at the AUSTRALIAN CAMP OVEN FESTIVAL. 

Busking entry forms are available on the association's website, limited number of busking places so get it quick. Great fun activity to round up the school holidays.
