The Our Other Mother exhibition is a celebration of the vibrancy and wonder of Planet Earth. It is a collaboration between children’s illustrators and parents concerned about climate change.

The campaign launched on Mother’s Day 2021 with an open call to create for the planet - Our Other Mother. Iconic British children’s illustrators, including Jim Field of Oi Frog! and Rebecca Cobb of The Paper Dolls, created art for the campaign, and were quickly joined by illustrators and artists from all over the world. Exhibits have taken place in New Zealand, Nigeria, Glasgow, outback Queensland, London, Spain and more.

The Toowoomba exhibit contains artworks by children’s book illustrators from the UK, Portugal, France, London, Singapore, Australia, Iran, Italy, Korea, Germany and Iceland.

Climate Parent Fellow Leanne Brummell who helped co-found Australian Parents for Climate Action and is a key organiser with Parents For Future Global is delighted to bring the exhibit to the Western Downs with local organiser Ellisa Parker.
