Golden Oldies in conjunction with Crows Nest Arts Council present "Woman on the Run" in Community Room 1 at the Crows Nest RSL-Community Centre on Friday 3rd November, 2pm.

"Woman of the Run" is a black and white 1950 film starring Ann Sheridan and Dennis O'Keefe, in the Film Noir genre. Film Noir describes a style of thriller or detective film that emerged in the USA in the 1940's and 1950's. Golden Oldies travelling showman Joel Archer will give a brief introduction to the genre before screening the film. A Laurel and Hardy sort film to start with will lighten the mood.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5.00 for children, and afternoon tea is included in the admission. Tickets are available at the door. No need to book.
