During 2016 Council completed a region-wide flood risk study which classified Crows Nest as a high risk area for flooding.
As an essential next step, a Floodplain Risk Management Plan to investigate the potential to mitigate the economic, social and environmental impacts of flooding is being developed for Crows Nest.
