'Celestial/Terrestrial' is an exhibition by local artist Lisa McInerney.

"My artistic ideals are aesthetic: beauty and balance. I create because it brings me joy, sustains me. Getting into 'flow' has many holistic benefits. 

I've loved doing art all my life. It was my favourite subject, even art theory and history. I devoured it. Then life gets in the way. Now, I have the gift of painting whenever I like. It's a blessing. I work intuitively, in the abstract, mainly self taught. Everything is still experimental. 

These works are landscapes and spacescapes, random examples of my recent work. I use different techniques, media and mark-making implements. I'm primarily interested in colour over form."
