The USQ Visual Art, School of Arts & Communication holds an annual art award for Darling Downs / South east Queensland High School art students in Years 11 and 12.

The annual award and exhibition showcases the diverse, dynamic and emerging professional approaches to art-making currently being created by Year 11 and 12 students in the region.

In its 7^th year in 2017, the exhibition will continue to attract a high calibre of emerging artists creating exciting and innovative art that deals with social, cultural, emotional and personal issues through each exhibiting finalists work. Overall the exhibition is about celebrating the students and teachers from the diverse schools in the region and to bring their various individual approaches together under one roof in an exciting and engaging presentation

Exhibition opening: 5pm, Tuesday 23 May in the USQ Arts Gallery.
