Acrylic artists Dan Butterworth and David Hinchliffe discuss the importance of retaining personal identity and authenticity in art, while demonstrating their respective art practices live on stage.

Daniel Butterworth is a figurative artist, who uses images of himself in much of his work to express social, political, and personal views. Having started his working life as a sign-writer, Butterworth later completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Latrobe University and has been a practising artist for more than 20 years.

David Hinchliffe has exhibited widely around the world including solo shows in New York, London and Tokyo, and is represented by 13 galleries from London to Singapore. He was taught by Artist John Rigby and William Robinson at the University of Southern Queensland (formerly DDIAE) in the early 70s.
