Background

Some people with epilepsy have told us that they do not identify as having a disability, and therefore, believe they are not eligible for supports under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) – during this meet up we will be discussing this further.

What will I get from the meetup?

Epilepsy Queensland Inc. is hosting a Meet Up in Toowoomba for anybody wanting to know more about:

• Epilepsy and the NDIS – both for existing participants and those yet to enter the scheme;

• EQI’s diverse range of supports and services;

• Social opportunities for people living with epilepsy and their supporters.
