Today our theme will be - ‘exceptional flavours with everyday winter garden staples and lamb'
The concept of the solstice and equinox was embedded in ancient Greek celestial navigation. For gardeners however, these turning points in the length of the days and nights are still so important they’re worth designing your gardening calendar around, because it’s how plants tell the seasons. Here at Bunnyconnellen, we have taken these events to signal the start of a new culinary adventure and accordingly we introduce you to the ‘Solstice and Equinox Pop-up Cooking Schools’ hosted by some of the most innovative chefs in the region and in this case Ben MacDonald a finalist in last years MasterChef.
Ben is an ardent foodie and traveller, meld these two qualities with passion and knowledge and we have a truly exceptional chef and ambassador for local food production and farming.
