A fundraising concert with proceeds going to the Toowoomba Hospice

From the plains of the Savana to the frozen tundra of Antarctica, the Toowoomba Municipal Band invites you to join them on a whirlwind tour of music and dance from every corner of the globe. Experience the rich harmonies of Africa, the exuberant rhythms of the Pacific, Spain, India and South America, the soothing melodies of Asia, and some much-loved classics from Europe and the USA.

The concert will celebrate the diverse cultural society that is Toowoomba with guest community groups Women in Harmony, Bollywood Belles, The Cook Islands Cultural Group, The Toowoomba Choral Society Youth Choir, and the Toowoomba School of Dance.

Special appearances also by soloists Martin Paroz singing Con Te Partiro and Greg Bird with a 100th anniversary tribute to Ol’ Blue Eyes.

Featured works include : Finlandia, New York New York, Safari Tanzania, Mambo, Antarctica, Theme from Magnificent Seven, Strauss Cocktail, Seville, and more.
