Join the Toowoomba Landcare Group for a community field day to learn how protecting your property from erosion can provide environmental benefits and in cases, flood mitigation.

Adam Berry, Floodplain Management Engineer, will explore the benefits of slowing water flow and working with vegetation and natural in-stream structures. Adam has been working in flood management for more than fifteen years and is particularly interested in natural floodplain management techniques.

Program:

-  9.00am: Presentation from guest speaker

- 10.30am: Field Visit at Federation Park

- 12.00pm (optional): Lunch at Bull and Barley Inn Cambooya
