Unleash the Beast is an exciting event coming to Toowoomba for the first time on 10 October 2018 – World Mental Health Day.

This event is a writing and wellbeing symposium aiming to share, promote and propagate the conversation about mental health in a relaxed, entertaining and engaging manner.

Bringing amazing authors and speakers from all over Australia to Toowoomba, the symposium will provide these writers the opportunity to share their own stories about how mental health affects us as individuals, as families and as a community.

If one in five adults experience mental health issues, then the remaining four out of five adults need to know how to support them. This is why Lifeline Darling Downs and South West Qld Ltd have been chosen as the beneficiary of this event, with funds raised used to provide free counselling services for
anyone who needs it.

A ‘Managing the Beast’ marketplace will provide businesses offering services in this area the opportunity to be involved by exhibiting. This event is proudly supported by the Toowoomba Regional Council and the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce.
