"Out to Dinner" have banded their diversity, talent and experience together specially to play in Toowoomba. Genres represented by these musicians include Jazz, Gypsy Jazz, French Cafe, World Music, Brazilian Bossa-Nova, Choro and Forró, Folk, Country and Blues to name a few.Each individual plays/sings in other bands, orchestras and ensembles and are looking forward to sharing music in the Toowoomba community. Tony will be playing Edinburgh Festival in August, Kay and Peter have just returned from playing some gigs in New Zealand. Bill and Glenn are disembarking from the Kookaburra Queen for a night. Chris will swim in from Stradbroke Island, and we will just catch Ian before he heads of to the UK. Chris and Peter once called Toowoomba home.Kay will have some CDs of accordion music she has recently recorded. You might like to take one home with you. Her recording engineer Peter plays double bass and guitar, Tony plays drums and Ian trombone on one track or more. Other friends including the late Ewan MacKenzie are represented as well.Check it out please. We will have lots to catch up on and talk about on the night. Bring your friends and your smiles. Admission is $20 for visitors and $15 for members.
